Message from the Director

It is with great pleasure I wish to welcome you to the Instituto Cultural Oaxaca.

During the past 20 years people from all over the world have joined us to pursue their desire to learn Spanish. My hope is that our students also experience the diversity of the indigenous population of Oaxaca along with their studies. Oaxaca offers countless ways to enrich the learning process, such as visiting the pueblos of the different folk artists, feeling the warmth of the people, and attending fiestas to understand the customs that have been passed on for generations.

We are very proud of our Oaxaca community and will do everything we can to make your stay with us a memorable one. One of our greatest joys is to have students return year after year to spend time with us. We hope you will become part of this group.
